Miami Ink - Life ( Original Title: Miami Ink ) is a produced by TLC, American reality show, to be tattooed in the people in front of the camera. The show ran from 2005 to 2008.

The studio where the TV show was recorded, heard the two tattoo artists Ami James and Chris Nunez. Other artists who appeared regularly in appearance, were Chris Garver, Darren Brass and Yoji Harada. The California tattoo artist Kat Von D ( Katherine von Drachenberg ), which specializes in tattooing portraits, uttered in the course of the first season with the team, but the show left in May 2007 again - according to a recent post on their MySpace page - due to internal inconsistencies.

Kat Von D is part of a new show called LA Ink - life is turned to its newly established tattoo shop "High Voltage Tattoo".

In each episode is about a number of people who want a tattoo because of their background stories. These are mostly illustrated through flashbacks in the form of pictures and brought along through stories of the respective customer. The show will be commented in the rule by Ami James from the off. The song for the show is " Funky Kingston " by Toots and the Maytals.

To be tattooed in the mission of the respective artists, you had to apply to the broadcaster's website TLC.

Miami Ink runs in Germany on DMAX in the United Kingdom on Discovery Real Time and in the U.S. on TLC. In Singapore, the Philippines and Australia respectively on Discovery Travel and Living Channel said. In Sweden it airs on TV6.
