Michael Kelly (physicist)

Michael Joseph Kelly ( born May 14, 1949 in New Plymouth, New Zealand) is a New Zealand physicist.

Kelly studied at the Victoria University of Wellington, where he received his BSc and MSc. In 1971 he went to England and received under Volker Heine PhD at the University of Cambridge. His main area of ​​research are the foundations of electron transport.

Kelly was called to the hacker incident on climate research center of the University of East Anglia in the inspection of the University of East Anglia and the Royal Society.

Kelly repeatedly warned of the dangers of so-called " alarmism " with respect to global warming, thus occupies a climate skeptic position.
