Michael Allen "Mike" Lambert ( born April 14, 1974 in Kaneohe, Hawaii) is a former American professional volleyball and beach volleyball player. He participated twice in the Olympic Games.

Career

Mike Lambert played indoor volleyball for the Cardinals at Stanford University, and from 1995 to 2000 in the U.S. national team. For four years, he also played in the Italian League with Pallavolo Piacenza. He took in 1996 at the Olympics in Atlanta and 2000 in the Olympic Games in Sydney in part, but where he was eliminated in each case after the preliminary round. He then moved to beach volleyball and played from 2001 to 2008 on the AVP Tour, where he worked with Charles Kiraly had his most successful season in 2004. Mike Lambert was " Most Valuable Player 2004", " Best Offensive Player 2004" and "Team of the Year 2004" with Karch Kiraly. With Steinmetzger he played in 2006 and 2007 and internationally. Lambert / Metzger were AVP "Team of the Year 2006" and ended up at the 2007 World Championships in Gstaad, ranked 17th

Mike Lambert is married to the Italian Deborah. The two live in Costa Mesa ( California ) and have a daughter and a son.
