Michael Newman (lifeguard)

Michael Newman ( born 1957 in California) is an American lifeguard in Los Angeles County and actor.

Biography

Newman began his career as a lifeguard at the age of ten years. He attended Palisades Charter High School and later studied advertising at the University of California at Santa Barbara, California.

While he waited for the job as a lifeguard, Newman took a degree as a fireman. From 1989 he was his friend Gregory J. Bonann as a consultant in the hit U.S. TV show Baywatch - The Baywatch available. Newman, who at the height of his career, had his own fan club with his role as Michael " Newmie " Newman, was the only real lifeguard in the cast list, and was led from 1996 in the opening credits of the series.

After his career as an actor, he worked as a real estate agent and lives with his wife Sarah and two children in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles.
