Michael Rimmer

Michael John Rimmer ( born February 3, 1986 in Southport ) is a British middle distance runner who specializes in the 800 - meter track.

At the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg in 2006 he was eighth. In each case, the semi-final he reached at the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka, at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin.

In 2010 he won the silver medal at the European Championships in Barcelona.

Michael Rimmer is 1,80 m tall and weighs 71 kg. He is coached by Norman Poole, starts for the club Liverpool Pembroke & Sefton and studied History at Liverpool John Moores University.
