Michael Wheeler (athlete)

Michael Wheeler (Michael Keith Valentine " Mike" Wheeler, born February 14, 1935 in Watford) was a British sprinter.

At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956, he reached the quarter-finals in the 400m. In the 4 x 400 - meter relay team, he won the British team in the occupation of John Salisbury, Wheeler, Peter Higgins and Derek Johnson, the bronze medal.

In 1956 he became British champion over 440 yards.
