1904 Drzymała bought a plot of land in the village Pogradowitz ( Podgradowice, 1871-1919 Emperor litter), Circle Bomst, Posen Province and applied for a building permit for a new house. The Prussian authorities tried to prevent the construction project. The basis was the hearth law shortly before adopted, which should prevent the further settlement of non-local Poles in the Prussian provinces of Posen and West Prussia, by forbidding them to build a new fire ( cooking facilities and heating).

Drzymała first inhabited barn and pigsty, because there was not a residential building on his property. However, the authorities banned him to build there fireplaces. Then Drzymała bought a discarded, heated circus wagons and settled there with his family. To circumvent the building codes, he moved the car regularly slightly within the plot. This brought him a great deal of attention in the then three divided Poland. Soon, financed by donations of new caravan was purchased. After a few years of constant litigation Drzymała but had to capitulate and the property in 1909 to sell again. Later he left the province of Posen and moved to Galicia over.
