MÃcheál Ó Súilleabháin
Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin (* 1950 in Tipperary ) is an Irish pianist and composer.
He is since 1993 Professor of Music at the University of Limerick and founded in 1994 the Irish World Music Centre (since 2004: Irish World Academy of Music & Dance ), an Academy of Irish folk music and dance.
He has performed with, among others, Van Morrison and the Irish Chamber Orchestra.
On the album Shapeshifter of guitarist Carlos Santana from 2012 is a composition by him ( " Ah Sweet Dancer" ).
