Michel Courtemanche

Michel Courtemanche ( born December 11, 1964 in Laval, Quebec, Canada ) is a French-Canadian stand-up comedian and actor.

Life

Courtemanche began in 1989 with appearances in local Canadian cabarets, where he gained a small cult following, which grew and grew with time. In 1987 he appeared for the first time at the International Comedy Festival in Montreal, the Juste pour rire (also known as Just for Laughs known), on. Again, he was one of the most popular artists and entered into the following years to again and again.

In the short-lived series The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne Phileas Fogg's valet Passepartout he embodied. For the sci-fi adventure Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, he was the first choice for the role of Jar Jar Binks, according to George Lucas.

Meanwhile, Michel Courtemanche is active and responsible for the production of French-Canadian sitcom Caméra café and behind the camera.
