The University Bordeaux Montaigne (French: Université Bordeaux Montaigne ) is one of four universities in the French city of Bordeaux. It is numerically the biggest of the four, was founded in the early 1970s, universities and humanities imprint. In 1990 they renamed themselves after Michel de Montaigne. On March 12, 2014, the university, which has been called " Université Michel de Montaigne Bordeaux III " was renamed " Université Bordeaux Montaigne " after the other three universities of Bordeaux were combined in the "Université de Bordeaux ".
