Michel Geiss

Michel Geiss is a French sound engineer, keyboard player and longtime artistic collaborator of Jean Michel Jarre.

Career

For the album Oxygène by Jean Michel Jarre Geiss designed an electronic rhythm machine, the Rythmi computer. Later, the sequencer is used to Equinoxe Matrisequencer (1977 ) and the DigiSequencer, the Geiss 1992, has developed a multi-member team within half a year followed, and which was based on an Atari 1040 STE. Geiss also appeared as a keyboard player at the concerts Jarre, among other things, at the concert in Houston for the 25th anniversary of NASA. The collaboration with Jarre Oxygène 7-13 ended in 1997.

As a sound engineer he worked alongside Jarre also with many other French artists, including Michel Jonasz, Marc Lavoine, Michel Sardou, and Patrick Bruel and 2007 he was responsible for the sound effects on X -Plorer - responsible A Trip Through The Universe Of Perry Rhodan.
