Michele Polverino

Michele Polverino ( born September 26, 1984) is a Liechtenstein football player who plays in the Austrian Bundesliga Wolfberger AC.

Career

Michele Polverino learned to play football at FC Vaduz, where he received his first missions in the Challenge League. He had his breakthrough in the 2003/04 season, when he scored 7 goals in 25 games. For the 2005/ 06 season he was at Olbia Calcio in Italy under contract and returned again in 2006 back to Vaduz. He again became an important player of the team and has received many applications. In July 2009 he went to FC Aarau. There he became an important player. His contract was terminated by mutual consent on 25 July 2011.

Since 2007 Polverino is also a national player of Liechtenstein. He scored three goals so far, the first in the 1-1 draw against Finland in the World Cup qualifiers, the second in a 1-0 victory in Liechtenstein in a friendly against San Marino and the third of them in a 2-0 win against Liechtenstein Lithuania of in the European Championship qualifier on June 3, 2011.
