Mid-August Lunch ( Original title: Pranzo di ferragosto ) is an Italian film from the year 2008.
Action
Rome in August. It is hot and the Romans flee the country. However, Giovanni can not go on holiday. The mid-fifties has to look after his elderly mother. He cooks and reads to her from novels. When the building manager Luigi with a Please zoom replaces Giovanni, changes the tranquil life of mother and son. Luigi Giovanni persuaded to watch for a couple days at Luigi's mother. Giovanni refuses at first, but when he receives compensation in debt with the caretaker, he says to. But Luigi's mother comes alone. Aunt Mary is also alone and needs support. When finally delivers also Giovanni's family doctor his mother Grazia with him, creates a Old -WG, which is cooked by Giovanni.
