Mid-August Lunch ( Original title: Pranzo di ferragosto ) is an Italian film from the year 2008.

Action

Rome in August. It is hot and the Romans flee the country. However, Giovanni can not go on holiday. The mid-fifties has to look after his elderly mother. He cooks and reads to her from novels. When the building manager Luigi with a Please zoom replaces Giovanni, changes the tranquil life of mother and son. Luigi Giovanni persuaded to watch for a couple days at Luigi's mother.
