( Broadcast in Germany as Power Rangers ) Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is an American action series, which is based on the 16 Super Sentai series, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. The series was produced in three seasons from 1993 to 1995 in the United States before the successor series Power Rangers Zeo continued the action.

Action
The scene of the series is the fictional town of Angel Grove, which should be located in California.
On a moon expedition discover two astronauts a container in which the witch Rita Repulsa and her minions have been detained for more than 10,000 years ago. When the witch the next planet earth discovered, she decides short hand to capture this and to take revenge on Zordon, which they had locked.
On Earth, Zordon, a disembodied beings, awakened by Rita's attack and is forced to recruit 5 sincere young people and to give them the strength to fight against the witch and her army through the threat of danger. Jason Lee Scott, Kimberly Hart, Zack Taylor, Trini Kwan and Billy Cranston be chosen before Zordon and received from him the power coins that the 5 young people give the power to transform into the Power Rangers.
