Miguel Gutiérrez (Mexican footballer)

Miguel Gutiérrez Gutiérrez ( born May 7, 1931 in Mexico City), also known by the nickname El Mulo ( the mule ), is a former Mexican football player who acted in defense and stood at Club León under contract.

Biography

El Mulo Gutiérrez came 1952 Club León, for until the end of his active career, he spent 16 years working and with whom he won several titles.

Between 1957 and 1959 Gutiérrez came eight times for the Mexican national football team used. His debut celebrated on 7 April 1957 in a World Cup qualifying match against the USA, which was won 6-0. In the following 1958 World Cup he came in the group matches against Wales (1:1 ) and Hungary ( 0:4 ) are used. His last international match played Gutiérrez on 8 March 1959 in a friendly match against Costa Rica, which was won 2-1.
