Miguelanxo Prado

Miguelanxo Prado (sometimes Hispanicized Miguel Angel Prado, born in 1958 in A Coruña ) is a Spanish comic book artist.

Before Prado began his career as a comic artist, he studied architecture and worked as an author. His first drawings he published in fanzines. For his comics he uses the technique of Direktkolorierung in which the original itself is already created in color. Prado, " whose seemingly delightful images triggered by the content and display of the flight line while reading rather nightmarish feelings," according to Gerhard Habarta and Harald Havas is considered as " probably the most important Spanish comic artists of the younger generation."

Prado influenced, among others, the Japanese comic artist Taiyo Matsumoto.
