Max & Moritz Prize

The German Comic Prize Max and Moritz is donated by Bulls Press (Frankfurt am Main ) and was launched on the occasion of the first Comic Salon Erlangen in 1984. He has since been awarded every two years in Erlangen in the historic Marquis Theatre. The name is an homage to the eponymous comic strip by Wilhelm Busch. The prize for the best German comic artist is connected to a sum of money.
