Mihai Ivăncescu

Mihai Ivăncescu ( born March 22, 1942 in Adancata, Circle Ialomiţa; † January 2, 2004 in Braşov, Braşov county ) was a Romanian football player. He completed 209 games in the highest Romanian football league, the Divizia A, and participated in the World Cup 1970.

Career

Mihai Ivăncescu began his career at Steagul Rosu Brasov in Divizia A and played there on September 24, 1961 his first game. But since he rarely came into use in Steagul, he moved in the fall of 1962 unterklassigen local rivals Tractorul Brasov, who played in Divizia B. When he returned in 1964 to Steagul, he conquered in the course of the season the desired strain space. Ivăncescu Steagul remained until 1973 - during a one-year intermezzo in Divizia B - faithful, before moving again to Tractorul and there ended his career in 1975.

National

Ivăncescu played just three games for the Romanian national football team and was also for two years no longer been used, as nominated him coach Angelo Niculescu for the Football World Cup 1970 in Mexico. He denied, however, not a single game.
