Mika Kohonen

Mika Kohonen ( born May 10, 1977 in Jyväskylä ) is a Finnish floorball player and two-time world champion with the Finnish national team (as of 2013). He plays in the Swedish Svenska Superligan at Storvreta BK. Kohonen in 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, awarded by the Swedish journal Innebandymagazinet World Floorball player of the year.

Career

Kohonen began with the floorball in his native city of Jyväskylä at the club Happee. In the 1995/96 season he made his debut for the first team Happee. Until 2000, he played 114 games for Happee and was able to achieve 198 points scorer. For the season 2000/ 01 he moved to Sweden for first division club Balrog IK. In 120 games he scored here by 2004 all 329 points scorer. In his first season he finished with 107 points, the best scorer in the league. For the season 2004 /05 Kohonen returned back for a year to his original club Happee, before he moved back to Sweden. For Storvreta IBK goes Kohonen since 2005/ 06 hunting for points.

For the Finnish national Kohonen plays since 1997. At the biennial transmitted World Cup tournaments could Kohonen been two gold, five silver and two bronze medals to win. He now plays the role of being the director of the Finnish team. Around two -thirds of its points scorer are templates that one third doors.
