Mikael Boström

Mikael Bengt Erik Boström ( born October 3, 1970 in Siuntio ) is a former Finnish orienteers.

Boström 1990 took part in the first Junior World Orienteering Championships in Sweden, winning the singles title and run with the relay. In 1992, he won the Tiomila in the season of the Swedish Bereins IFK Södertälje. The World Cup season in 1996 he finished in fourth place and in 1997 he won the long distance title at the Nordic Championships. In 1997 and 1999 he competed at the World Championships in Grimstad and in Inverness and occurred in all three individual races for the first ten. With the Finnish season, he won two silver medals in 1997 with Timo Karppinen, Juha Peltola and Janne Salmi, 1999 Jani Lakanen, Peltola and Salmi. In 2004 and 2005 he was a member of the victorious in the Jukola season of Kalevan Rasti.

He is married to the former orienteer Kirsi Boström. The orienteers and Athlete Mårten Boström is his brother.
