Mikael Johansson (ice hockey, born 1981)

Mikael Johansson (born 17 July 1981 in Gothenburg ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who was most recently at Frölunda HC in Elitserien under contract.

Career

Mikael Johansson began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the Frölunda HC in which he was active until 2001. He then moved for a year to Tyringe soß from the third-tier Division 1, before the HockeyAllsvenskan, the Swedish second division, spent the next four years. There he played for the Mörrums GoIS IK, the Halmstad Hammers and Rögle BK.

For the season 2006 /07, the Malmö Redhawks Johansson joined from the Elitserien. The team, however, he had to finish the season the descent into HockeyAllsvenskan accept, whereupon he returned to his hometown club Frölunda HC, for in the highest Swedish league, he stood until 2013 on the ice.
