Mike Agostini

Mike Agostini (actually George Michael Raymond Agostini; born January 23, 1935 in Port of Spain ) is a former sprinter from Trinidad and Tobago.

In 1954 he won at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver gold in the 100 yards. The following year, he won at the Pan American Games in Mexico City silver over 100 meters and bronze over 200m.

At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956, he was sixth on 100 meters and fourth over 200m.

In 1958 he joined the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff for Canada and won the bronze medal over 100 yards. For the West Indies Federation, he started a year later at the Pan American Games in Chicago and again won silver over 100 meters and bronze over 200m. Also he won bronze with the West Indian team in the 4 x 100 - meter relay.
