Mike White (filmmaker)

Michael White ( born June 28, 1970 in Pasadena, California) is an American actor, screenwriter and film and television producer.

Biography

White was born in 1970 in Pasadena, California. His father Reverend Mel White is a writer and an LGBT activist who worked as a pastor in a liberal Christian church later. White grew up in Pasadena and was thrilled since early childhood movies. Today he's on the comedy track. White lives openly bisexual.

White attended the Polytechnic School and Wesleyan University. After his college degree White wanted to write in New York City plays. He was producer and writer on Dawson 's Creek and later on Freaks and Geeks to. Today, White is a regular jury member at the Baltimore MicroCinefest and works in the Elvis Impersonator 's Hall of Fame.

Known screenplays of White are for The Good Girl, Nothing like out of Orange County, School of Rock, Nacho Libre, and Year of the Dog. Mike White particularly often collaborates with Jack Black.

White himself was also active as an actor. In the lead role, he starred in Chuck & Buck. White also played a supporting role in The School of Rock for which he also wrote the screenplay. At the Hulk Hogan hand, he was also seen in 1997 in the TV movie Attack on Devil's Iceland. Since the late 1990s, he has also worked as a producer for Fim and Television.

Mike White is vegan and supported the animal rights organization PETA.
