Mikhail Kobalia

Mikhail Robertovich Kobalija (Russian: Михаил Робертович Кобалия, spelling the World Chess Federation FIDE Mikhail Kobalia, May 3, 1978) is a Russian chess player.

Success as a teenager

As a teenager, he attended the Moscow Pioneer Chess School by Alexander Mazia.

In the Under-16 European Championship in 1994 in Băile Herculane he took second place at U18 World Championships in 1995 he became third in Guarapuava 1996 in Cala Galdana second. Once again, he was second in the U18 European Championship in 1996 Rimavská Sobota.
