Milan Đukić

Milan Đukić ( born April 10, 1947 in Donji Lapac, † October 8, 2007 ) was a Croatian politician and since 1991 the chairman of the Serbian People's Party.

Life

After studying economics Đukić worked in the financial management of his home community and tourism management for the National Park Plitvice Lakes.

From 1992 he was a deputy in the Croatian Parliament until his party's 2003 collection was no longer possible to parliament. Đukić was initially related parties as of the Tuđman government, but went since the mid- 1990s, increasingly distancing themselves from Tuđman. From 1992 to 1996 Đukić was Speaker of Parliament.

Đukić was married and had two children. He died at the age of 60 in October 2007.
