Milburn (Band)

Milburn was a rock band from Sheffield, England. The four band members met in their former football club " Ecclesfield Red Rose".

In 2006, she released her debut album Well, Well, Well on the label Mercury Records, having previously sold the two singles Lipstick Lickin ' and showroom on her own label Free Construction. Musically Milburn is well with the Arctic Monkeys comparable, which is probably not last that both bands originate from Sheffield. In the spring of 2006, she accompanied the Arctic Monkeys even as the opening act on their European tour.

As their musical influences, the four British call among others Rod Stewart, Bedouin Soundclash and Dr. Dre.

On 24 September 2007 their second album These Are the Facts appeared. The single from the album What Will You Do ( When The Money Goes )? already appeared on September 17.

In March 2008, they announced on their website to dissolve. Their last concert the band gave on May 24, 2008 in Sheffield.
