Miles is a city in Runnels County in the U.S. state of Texas in the United States.

Geography

The city is located on U.S. Highway 67 and Farm Road 2872 and the Santa Fe Railroad, just west of the geographical center of Texas and has a total area of 3.5 km ² without significant water surface.

History

Was named the place after Jonathan Miles, who paid $ 5,000 to the railway company, so the place was connected to the track Ballinger - San Antinio.
