Mima Jaušovec

Mima Jausovec ( born July 20, 1956 in Maribor) is a former Yugoslav tennis player.

She became famous by her victory at the French Open in 1977. The following year, she reached the final there again, but lost the Romanian Virginia Ruzici. In 1983, she was able to advance for the third time in the final of Roland Garros, but then lost to Chris Evert.

In 1988, she retired from active tennis.
