Mindscape

Mindscape is an American computer game developer and publisher, based in Novato, California.

History

The company was founded in 1980 by Roger M. australischstämmigen Bouey. Mindscape started as a software publisher in the Chicago area in the U.S. state of Illinois. One of the first computer games which Mindscape Balance of Power was published by games developer Chris Crawford from the year 1985. Mindscape brought, among others, many computer games for the Amiga 500 out. Since 2004, Mindscape has offices in France, England, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Asia, Australia and Latin America. Mindscape has a revenue of 38 million euros (as of 2005 ) and has 150 employees.

In August 2011, the last internal development studio was closed and announced withdrawal from the computer and video game market.
