Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight

Moonstone: A Hard Days Knight is a computer game. It is a mixture of Hack & Slay, role-playing and strategy game. It was released in 1991 for the Commodore Amiga and one year later for the PC ( MS -DOS). Manufacturer 's Mindscape International Ltd.. , Who published many popular Amiga games as 4D Sports Driving, Captive, D / Generation and Into the Eagle 's Nest.

The game was especially famous for its uncompromising depiction of violence, as in the battles do not save on pixels blood. The excessive depiction of violence could be true and - off by the so-called " Gore " option, yet the game in 1992 has been indexed in Germany.

The game

The player assumes the role of one of four knights, who is sent out by druids at Stonehenge to find the fabled Moonstone ( Moonstone ). He has to visit different places on a turn-based map to slay in real-time fighting monsters and loot their treasures.

The game can ( alternately ) are played by Hotseatmodus from 1 to 4 players. Duels against each other but are held in real time via joystick.

Press

The game was technically evaluation mainly located in the upper middle. Criticism was mainly the lack of depth and the barely existing backstory, praised the atmosphere and graphics.
