Minnitaki Lake

The Minnitaki Lake is a lake in Kenora District in southwestern Ontario, Canada.

The Minnitaki Lake is drained by the English River from south to north. The lake has an area of ​​188.8 km ². The maximum water depth is 49 m, ​​the average water depth is 18 m. About the Abram Rapids the water of Lake Minnitaki leaves the lake to the neighboring northern Abram Lake. Sioux Lookout, the only major town in the area, is 10 km to the north of the lake.

In Minnitaki - Abram - Pelican - Botsford Lakes system, the following fish species are caught: Walleye, Canadian walleye, trout and smallmouth bass, northern pike, muskellunge, American perch, sunfish, lake trout and American Heringsmaräne. The catch of lake sturgeon is prohibited all year round.
