Minqin County

The circle Minqin (民勤县) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Wuwei in the northwest of China's Gansu province. It has an area of 16,016 km ² and has 290,000 inhabitants ( 2004). Its main town is the large village Sanlei (三 雷 镇).

The Rui'an Fort ( Rui'an bao瑞安 堡) is on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-1071 ) since 2006.
