Minus (record label)

Minus, also known as M_nus, is a label in the electronic music scene. In the Groove Magazine Reader's Poll in 2005 and 2006 was elected M_nus the best label ( international).

It was founded in Detroit (USA) by Richie Hawtin 1998. The collective of the label consists among other things of artists like Marc Houle and Magda and embodies a style that is referred to as minimal techno. His move to Berlin in 2004 founded Richie Hawtin allegedly with the growing reticence of U.S. society after September 11.

In 2008, the label celebrates its tenth anniversary. The number of publications is over 60
