Mirfield

Mirfield is a small town in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, West Yorkshire. She had a total of 18,621 inhabitants in 2001 according to census.

Geography

Mirfield is located about 15 km south of Bradford and 20 miles south-west of Leeds directly on the M1 and about 15 km south of Leeds. The city is connected via the A- road A644 to the M62 three kilometers away.

The town is located southwest of Dewsbury in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, and for example also includes the village of Hartshead, where the grave of Robin Hood is said.
