Miriam Frenken

Miriam Frenken ( born September 20, 1984 in Dusseldorf ) is a German canoeist.

Career

Miriam Frenken joined in canoe racing for the first time in 2000 in appearance, as they in the junior class won the silver medal at the German Championships. 2003 the nomination for the German canoe racing team. In the following years she was able to record more Vice - European Champion U-23 for themselves. A highlight of her athletic career was winning the World Cup runners- title K4 1000m at the Canoe Sprint World Championships in 2006 in Hungary, along with Carolin Leonhardt, Tanja Schuck and Silke Hörmann.

From 2007 started Frenken also in the discipline Canoe Marathon. In addition to several German championship titles in the One Long Distance she won gold at the 2010 Marathon World Cup in the Czech Tyn.
