Mirko Casper

Mirko Casper ( * March 1, 1982 in Zell an der Mosel) is a German football player. Casper played from 2004 to 2012 for Alemannia Aachen, among other things, in the Bundesliga. He works in the Thunder Mountain Barracks Eschweiler.

Career

The skilled central defender, but also like playing alternatively right or left-back, has learned to play football at SG Bremm. From there he moved to FSV Salmrohr where the Scouts of Bayer 04 Leverkusen were aware of him. With the Bayer A youth stood Casper 2001 in the final of the German Cup, but lost there as a sweeper but against Bayern Munich 2:3. The following season, Casper moved from Leverkusen to SC Fortuna Köln. After a spell at Yurdumspor Cologne, a temporary well-funded Oberliga, he attracted by very good performance relatively quickly the interest of Aachen scouts.

In December 2004, he was officially announced as a new addition to the Alemannia Aachen amateurs. Head coach Dieter Hecking quickly became aware of Casper Its excellent training impressions. On 22 April 2005, he played his first second-division match against Rot -Weiss Essen. Over time Casper has established itself at the Aachen professionals and has been in the promotion season first-team regular. His contract was prematurely extended until 2008 because he was considered a promising talent. In the season 2006/ 07 he came in the 1st Bundesliga seven times for use. The season ended with the re- direct descent of Aachen.

In the 2007 /08 season Casper had to fight for his place in the team. When he was able to play in the second half for a short time back in the starting lineup, he retired in April 2008 to a torn ACL and played only ten months later, his first season game in 2008 /09. In his last Aachen 2011/12 season Mirko Casper was still on seven missions, at the end stood for the Association of relegation from the Bundesliga 2.

For the 2012/13 season, he returned to Bayer 04 Leverkusen. He is here to take a leading role in the second team and given the opportunity to retrain in the coach area. He received a three-year contract in Leverkusen.
