Mirko Dickhaut

Mirko Dickhaut ( born January 11, 1971 in Kassel) is a former German football player and now coach. Currently, he is assistant coach for SpVgg Greuther Fürth under contract.

Career

Initially he played in the youth teams and in the big leagues for the KSV and KSV Hessen Kassel Baunatal, Mirko thick rubber came 1993 Eintracht Frankfurt. On his position in central midfield was in season 1993/94 actually Ralf Falkenmayer set, due to the injury problems he brought it, however, in his first Bundesliga season on 32 missions ( and six inserts in the UEFA Cup with a goal ) and was henceforth a regular player. Especially his both feet and his game overview recorded from him, even his fairness ( he received in any of his more than 300 missions as a professional a sending off ) has often been praised. In the season 1994/95 he stayed at his position set and completed 29 league games and seven UEFA Cup matches, in which he also scored a goal. In preparing for the 1996 European Championships in England, he was under surveillance by national coach Berti Vogts, but never received an appointment to the national team. After the descent of concord 1996, he remained loyal to the club, followed him to the 2nd Bundesliga and took over as captain of a leadership role.

However, after failed direct resurgence, he moved to the 1997/98 season to VfL Bochum. Here he played an increasingly defensive tactical position and was also used as a sweeper. Despite twice descent and immediate resurgence he remained until the 2002/03 season in Bochum. Because of his commitment to the club and the support of fan projects he is there still popular.

During the winter break 2002/ 03 he moved after he had to settle for the reserve player, for € 250,000 to Austria to SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. Here he remained until 2005 2005/06-2008 he left his career as a player in his home country at the present division side KSV Hessen Kassel finish. ; the way he coached there in 2007 / 08, the second team, with which he managed to move up to the Hessen League.

After the sacking of coach Matthias Hamann, he also took over the first team of KSV Hessen Kassel. In the 2008/2009 season he reached with the first team the runner-up in the Regionalliga Süd.

After it had looked in the first round of the 2010/11 season after a walkover in the 3rd league, playful KSV Hessen in the second half to be comfortable point cushion. On April 21, 2011 Mirko Dickhaut was after a defeat against promotion competitor SV Darmstadt 98 and a draw at home against the reserve of the Karlsruhe SC on leave. Just before the crucial promotion match against Stuttgarter Kickers took over assistant coach Christoph germ and goalkeeping coach Pascal Formann as an interim solution the training.

In June 2013 Dickhaut signed a two -year contract for SpVgg Greuther Fürth, where he succeeds interim coach Louis Price competes as an assistant coach and on the side of Frank Kramer, the first team will be in charge in the 2nd Bundesliga.
