Mirosław Dreszer

Miroslav Dreszer ( born August 28, 1965 in Tychy, Poland Mirosław Dreszer ) is a former Polish football goalkeeper.

Career

Playing career

Dreszer began in his hometown Tychy playing football and joined as a 18 -year-old Legia Warszawa to. In 1984 he participated with the Polish U-18 national team at the European Championship and finished third. He came only two forces in Legia Warszawa within two years, he moved in 1986 to GKS Katowice. In five years in Katowice Dreszer came on 57 missions and got the 1991 Polish Cup. During the second round in the European Cup Winners 1986/87 against FC Sion Miroslav Dreszer suffered a serious injury, which resulted in him had to be removed the spleen. In 1992 he moved to Germany for the first time and went to VfL Osnabrück in the Second Bundesliga. There he graduated in the 1992/93 season 36 games and then went to Eintracht Trier. Since he could not prevail, Dreszer moved back to the highest Polish league to Zagłębie Lubin. After three years and 87 missions followed the next change, this time to Ruch Chorzow. In 1998 he went to the then third division 1 FC Magdeburg, for which he was in 119 point games and 21 cup games in goal. At first he was a few years coach at unterklassigen SSV United Santersleben / Hermsdorf, and incidentally 2006-2007 goalkeeper coach at the 1 FC Magdeburg. In the summer of 2007, he then returned to his homeland in order to act as a goalkeeping coach at Polonia Bytom. In the summer of 2012, his contract was not renewed. In early October 2012, he became the new goalkeeping coach at the first division Podbeskidzie Bielsko- Biala. He signed a contract until the end of the season 2012/13 with option to extend. In January 2013 he was replaced by Jarosław Matusiak.

Others

Miroslav Dreszer is married ( Mariola ) and has two sons ( Mateusz, Dominik ). Mateusz is also playing active football, but on the position of the striker.
