Mirtha Legrand
Mirtha Legrand ( Rosa María Juana Martínez Suárez actually; born February 23, 1927 in Villa Cañas, Santa Fe Province) is an Argentine actress and television presenter. It was especially popular as a presenter of the 1968 sent to 2007 show con Mirtha Legrand Almorzando.
Career
Mirtha Legrand and her twin sister Silvia Legrand was born on 23 February 1927 in Villa Canas. Her older brother is the director and screenwriter José A. Martínez Suárez ( born 1925 ).
1940 she and her sister received the first rollers in the film Hay que educar a Niní. Until the mid- 1960s, she appeared in nearly 30 films.
In 1968 she hosted the TV show con Mirtha Legrand Almorzando that ran in the Argentine television until 2007.
Private life
From 1946 until his death on 24 October 1994 Legrand was married to the director and screenwriter Daniel Tinayre. From this marriage two children were born.
