Misery Loves Co.

Misery Loves Co. was a Swedish industrial metal band that was active during the years 1993 to 2000. The band was founded in January 1993 by Patrik Wiren and Orjan Ornkloo.

Band History

In the years after the founding Wiren and Ornkloo complete their project initially as a duo continued and dedicated only for live performances, additional gang members. In 1995, Misery Loves Co. brought their first self-titled album out, first with the help of the regional music scene. The success of the debut album helped the band to a contract with the UK record label Earache Records, in consequence of the first album was again reprinted and published throughout Europe. Misery Loves Co. were soon all over Europe, inter alia, as the opening act of Clawfinger. The release of the EP Happy? followed in 1996, which included a tour with Fear Factory and Slayer. Soon after, already started work on the second studio album Not Like Them, which was published in 1997. This time the band toured with Machine Head after the album publication. The third and final studio album Your Vision Was Never Mine to Share, to the emergence of next Wiren and Ornkloo Michael Hahne and Olle Dahlstedt were also involved, was published in 2000. Also for this album a tour has been planned and started, but the separation of the band was in the middle of the ongoing tour and prevented its completion.
