Mitch Petrus ( born May 11, 1987 in Carlisle, Arkansas ) is an American football player at the position of the Guards. He plays for the New York Giants in the National Football League ( NFL). He was selected in 2010 by the Giants in the 5th round of the NFL Draft.

College

Peter started at the University of Arkansas as a walk -on fullback. Peter spectacular block for tandem Darren McFadden and Felix Jones, both of which exceeded the 1,000 yards mark in 2007. He was chosen for his performances in the 2007 All- SEC Second Team. In 2009, Peter was elected to the All- SEC team by the SEC coaches. Shortly thereafter, Peter completed his studies in agricultural economics. With the NFL Combine in 2010 Peter managed 45 reps on the bench press of 102 kg, and thus achieved the 2nd place overall.
