Mittweidaer BC

The Mittweidaer BC is a former German football club from Mittweida that existed from 1896 to 1945. The club is a founding member of the DFB.

Association

The Mittweidaer BC was founded in 1896 and took part in the championship of the Central German Ballgame Association. The club continued in 1907 and 1916, the Championship of the Gau Südwestsachsen one. The following league games of the Central German Championship of MBC was defeated by VfB Leipzig 0:6. 1916 Mittweida sat against the teams of VfB Glauchau and SpVgg. 1899 Leipzig through, but lost the later Middle German champions Eintracht Leipzig clearly with 0:7.

1944 took place the MBC a brief merger with Germania Mittweida to KSG Mittweida in Gauliga Saxony. A Start-up did not take place after 1945.
