Modrovka

Modrovka ( until 1927 slovak " Malá Modrovka "; Kleinmodro German, Hungarian Kismodró ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.

The place was in 1348 as well as the neighboring Modrová first mentioned in writing as Madro and is located approximately 17 kilometers southeast of the town of Nové Mesto nad Váhom on the left bank of the Waag.

He belonged in the past for a long time to rule the castle Tematín.
