Modrzewiec

Modrzewiec ( German Heyde ) is a village with about 180 inhabitants in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural commune ( gmina wiejska ) Rabino ( United Rambin ) in the powiat Świdwiński.

The former manor Heyde (also: Heath ) was already long been closely associated with organizational Lipie ( Arnhausen ) from which it is only through the Muglitz (now Mogilica ) is disconnected.

Heyde originally belonged to the family von Manteuffel in Arnhausen, in 1825 but declared because of its grown size for independent asset. In 1869, there were 125 inhabitants in seven houses, 1910, there were 140 local residents. By 1945, the village belonged to the Belgard and to the parish church Arnhausen in Belgard county.
