MOF Model to Text Transformation Language

The MOF Model to Text Transformation Language ( Mof2Text or MOFM2T ) is a standard of the Object Management Group (OMG ) for the description of transformations ( transformations ) of MOF - based models (eg, UML, SysML, etc.) into text. MOFM2T is thus a model transformation language to formulate M2T transformations. An example of such transformation is the creation of program code from a UML model. Currently, the specification of the language in version 1.0 is available. Within the specification, the language is also called MOF to text Template Language.

A first implementation of the standard is the tool Acceleo that arises in the context of the Eclipse framework.
