Moghulistan

Mogul Istan or Moghulistan is a geographical term, the land of the Mongols ' means it is a term used by the Persians for Eastern Chagatai Khanate term. It extends north to Tarbagatai Mountains, in the west to the lake Issyk Kul and the Lake Balkhash, in the east to the Altai Mountains, in the south to the oases of the Uyghur. Basically, the entire Tian Shan Mountains of northern Xinjiang, the rivers Tschüi and Talas and Fergana Valley Mogul Istan (ie Kazakhs and Kyrgyz ) can also be attributed. Usually, the Chagatai Khanate is divided into Uighuristan, Alti Shahr (the country of the Six Cities - or Kashgaria ) (ie Yarkant, Kashgar, Hotan, Aksu, Uqturpan, Yengisar ) and Mogul Istan.

This area was originally under the administration of the Eastern Chagatai Khanate, but in the 15th century was a large number of Uzbek nomads under Abu'l- Chair Khan ( 1412-1468 ), followed by sultans from the Golden Horde, Kerey Khan and Khan Janybek who came here. The rulers of the Eastern Chagatai Khanate, Esen Buqa II and Yunus Khan came to them from a part of the Mughal Istan ( Kuqibashi ) and they built the Kazakh Khanate. The Chagatai Khanate was increasingly restricted to the southern Xinjiang ( Nanjiang ). This area later became the Kazakh Khanate of the Great Horde, whose inhabitants were Wusun, Kankalis, Dughlat, Jalayir and other tribes.
