Mohamed Abu al-Qasim al-Zwai

Muhammad Abu al -Qasim al- Zuwai (Arabic محمد أبو القاسم الزوي, DMG Muḥammad Abū l - az- Qāsim Zuwai; Muhammad Abul- Qasim al - Zwai; born May 14, 1952) is a Libyan politician.

The schoolmate Muammar al- Gaddafi was involved in the coup in 1969. He was Libyan ambassador in London in 2001. As the successor to Mubarak Abdallah al- damage me he was on 26 January 2010 to August 23, 2011 Secretary General of the General People's Congress of Libya and therefore de jure head of state. After the conquest of the capital Tripoli by the troops of the National Transitional Council in August 2011 in the wake of the Libyan civil war as- Zuwai was arrested on 8 September by rebels.
