Mohammad Forouzandeh

Mohammad Forouzandeh (Persian محمد فروزنده; * January 1, 1960 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian politician, former military commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC ) and former Secretary of Defense. He was from 2007-2012 a member of the Expediency Council.

He is the head of the Foundation of the Islamic Revolution (Persian بنیاد مستضعفان انقلاب اسلامی, formerly the Foundation of the Oppressed and War Veterans ), the second largest retail company in Iran (after the state-owned National Iranian Oil Company ) and largest holding company in the Middle East (Middle East ).
