Mohammad Yusuf (prime minister)

Mohammad Yusuf ( born in 1914 in Kabul, † 23 January 1998 in Germany ) was a pastunischer physicist, politician and diplomat.

Life

Mohammed Yousuf graduated from the Royal Afghan Nedjat High School graduated from high school and studied at the Georg-August -Universität Göttingen physics, where he was in 1941 received his doctorate in physics. He taught at the University of Kabul, where he was dean of the Faculty of Economics. From 1949 to 1950 he was deputy minister of education. In 1952, he headed the European- Afghan Cultural Office at Oskar- von -Miller-Ring 29 From 1953 to 10 March 1963, he was Minister of Mines and Industries in this capacity he traveled in 1957, 1960 and 1961 in the Soviet Union.

On March 10, 1963 Mohammed Zahir Shah dismissed his cousin Mohammed Daoud Khan from the post of Afghan Prime Minister and appointed Mohammad Yusuf of the case, despite the name similarity with that of the grandfather of Mohammed Daoud Khan, no relationship was notoriously the Barakzai dynasty, for Prime Minister.
