Mojtín

Mojtín (Hungarian Hegyesmajtény - to 1902 Mojtény ) is a municipality in the north-western Slovakia amidst mountains Strážovské hills.

The village was first mentioned in 1364 as Moite, but disappeared in the 16th century and was mentioned again until the 18th century. As an independent community it occurs again in 1863, before she was a part of Pružina.
